It’s easy to see Sofia’s heritage in her company’s ethos. Growing up with a Mexican father and a Jewish American mother, Sofia learned to love vibrancy, radiate confidence, and balance a respect for tradition with a willingness to break the rules. Combined with her natural penchant for organization, warm personality, and craving for deep, personal connections, Sofia found her dream job in hospitality. She opened Sofia Ocampo Events in 2013 as Events By Sofia, and quickly caught Atlanta’s attention as a top wedding planner. Now, as her children grow older, Sofia is expanding her influence globally, bringing the fun, authentic, refined events she is known for to destinations like Mexico, Italy, and beyond.
